Russian boxer Radzhab Butaev (14-1, КО 11) will next fight Fazliddin Gaibnazarov (11-1, КО 6) from Uzbekistan on 6 November at RED ARENA. This middle-weight fight tops the Betcity Boxing Evening tournament organized with the support of the Russian Boxing Federation.

Radzhab Butaev is a former regular welter-weight WBA champion. The Russian lost this title in his last fight in April 2022 to Eimantas Stanionis by a split decision. Butaev is now motivated by a desire to get back on the path to victory. Butaev fought professionally mostly in the USA and the coming fight will be his third in Russia. 29-year-old Butaev became amateur champion of Russia in 2014 and won the University Games in 2013.

Gaibnazarov is the 2016 Olympics champion and silver-medal winner of the world and Asian championships in 2015. This boxer from Uzbekistan debuted in the professional ring in the spring of 2017 in the USA. In December 2020, he boxed in Yekaterinburg, winning against Manuk Dilanyan by unanimous decision. After that, Gaibnazarov paused his career, returning to the ring only in August 2022. The 32-year old’s last fight was in December 2022 in Tashkent.

The other main event of the evening will see Olympics 2016 champion, world champion 2023 and three-times champion of Asia, 30-year-old Hasanboy Dusmatov (5-0, КО 5) from Uzbekistan in his sixth professional fight meet 32-year-old Siphamandla Baleni (21-5-2, КО 8). For the former South African champion, this flyweight match will be his first outside his home country.

As part of the show on 6 November, RED ARENA will host a fascinating light heavyweight media fight between popular pop-industry fighters: a rematch between Timur “Archangel” Nikulin and Zelimkhan “Machine-gunner” Dukaev. Their first boxing rules match was in September 2021, which culminated in a unanimous decision victory for Nikulin.
